WoMen Of Connections Ministry

Bringing love into education

Fresh Start Program

The “Fresh Start” Program mission is designed to educate and support immigrant students in grades 5-12 on hygiene standards, understanding of the American school system, and understanding the importance of medical checkups (such as vision and hearing screenings). With these services, we aim to set up students for success as they enter their first year in this school setting.

How This Program Will Help Immigrant Students:

Many immigrant students may feel left out or behind in the school system due to external factors. At WoMen of Connections Ministry’s “Fresh Start Program,” we offer many different forms of support to not only help immigrant students in navigating the school system, but also to help immigrant students live prosperous lives.

What This Program Offers:

During the 3-day “Fresh Start” program, we will provide:

  • Vision and hearing screening
  • Hygiene information and supplies
  • Snacks
  • Referral Services
  • And much more…

It is our mission to support and educate immigrant students from across the globe on what they should be doing in their daily lives, while giving them the resources to do so.
